보조생식술을 시행하는 난임 여성에게 임신 관련 지표를 개선하기 위해 침과뜸 복합치료를 병행하는 것을 고려해야 한다.

• 보조생식술을 시행하는 난임 여성에게 침치료와 뜸치료를 함께 적용할 경우, 관원(CV4), 음릉천(SP9), 삼음교(SP6), 내관(PC6), 합곡(LI4), 태충(LR3) 등의 경혈에 시술하는 것을 고려할 수 있다.

• 보조생식술에 병행하는 한약재는 구기자, 토사자, 여정자, 숙지황, 당귀, 백작약, 천궁, 자하거, 향부자, 산약 등을 연령과 변증에 따라 가감하여 적용하는 것을 고려할 수 있다.

• 보조생식술 시술 전에 시행하는 한약치료는 주로 보신(補腎)을 중심으로 활혈(活血), 소간해울(疏肝解鬱), 건비(健脾) 등의 효능을 가진 기본 처방을 투여하며, 주요 구성 약물로 토사자, 속단, 상기생, 구기자, 산수유, 산약, 당귀, 숙지황, 백작약, 천궁, 향부자, 백출 등을 고려할 수 있다.
• 보조생식술 시술 전에 시행하는 한약치료의 기본처방은 동반 증상에 따른 변증 분형, 원인 질환, 혹은 난소주기에 따라 가감 또는 변방하여 투여하는 것을 고려할 수 있다.
